Elizabeth Manygoats is a Diné potter/folk artist from Cow Springs near Shonto, AZ. She is one of potter Betty Manygoats nine daughters and works full-time as an artist. She makes whimsical freestanding figures and bowls, jars and tiles featuring scenes, people and animals from daily life on the Navajo reservation. After firing her clay pieces, she adds color with commercial paints, then glazes with pitch from pinyon pine.
