Dena Suina is from San Felipe Pueblo and married into Cochiti Pueblo. She learned the art of pottery from her mother-in-law, Louise Suina. Since 1991, Suina has developed her own distinct style and is known for storyteller figurines that feature very small children. This storyteller features 35 children.
