"Early Dawn Girl" Sculpture by Sheldon Harvey

About the Artist: Sheldon Harvey (b. 1978) is a Diné painter and sculptor from Window Rock, AZ. Harvey adds feathers, yucca and other natural materials to his hand-stained and painted wood sculptures depicting spirits from the Navajo creation myth and other ancient traditions. he was taught by his uncle and grandfather, as well as studying Fine Arts at Dinè College.
