About the Artist: Beverly Blacksheep grew up in a Dinè family of weavers in Salina Springs, AZ. She majored in interior design at Flagstaff's Northern Arizona University, where she started painting as a hobby. Her original gouache and ink designs were influenced by Harrison Begay.
