Artist: Ralph Sena

About the Artist: Ralph Sena (b. 1943) a Hispanic silversmith, grew up near Santa Fe, NM, where he was a draftsman and engineer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. His family tradition of blacksmithing influenced his focus on metal work while his culture, Catholic symbols, and Native American artisans, influenced his designs. He is known for his filigree work, sacred hearts, silver beads, pomegranates and polished stone settings.
