About the Artist: Shaun Beyale is originally from Shiprock, NM. He is a Studio Arts graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM. He is well-known for his comic book art style and depiction of strong, Indigenous women superheroes. He works to promote the beauty and strength of his culture and people through his art. 

Shaun Beyale is a featured artist in the Plateau Magazine & 2019 exhibition, The Force Is With Our People.
